Michelle D. Alderson



Michelle Danner Alderson grew up in a suburb outside of Los Angeles, California. After receiving her B.A. in English at UC Santa Barbara in 1994, she moved back to the city where she began her career as an editorial assistant.

Michelle's publishing years exposed her to many good things, including travel writing while working at a scuba diving magazine, and in 2004 she joined Bon Appétit Magazine. Here, with the help of Michelle's husband, David, she discovered her love for food and wine, which was solidified during her years in San Francisco. 

Today she lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two sons and works as a freelance writer and Relocation Consultant.
